Asharqia Chamber represented by the training center
held a public lecture titled (The Executive Regulations of the Saudi Labor
System ) embraced recently in Khafji in the Chamber branch.
The advisor in the agency of inspection and development
of environment in the Ministry of Labor and Social Development Sultan bin Fahid
Al Mutairi, discussed the ways to educate the sector about the regulation and the
updates.
Al Mutairi reviewed several topics: the new modifications
in the labor system, standardized contracts, and internal regulations of the
institutions, in addition to the administrative regulations.
Al
Mutairi talked about some of the violations the
employer might commit including: the employer makes the worker responsible for costs,
not committing to the training
conditions about the profession and duration contained in the qualification
contract and training with non employees with the employer, and the employer detaining
the worker
income or part of it without a judicial report, if the employer not facilitating the ministry inspectors
missions ad not cooperating with them to apply the provisions of the labor Law
a, or the employer does not give the worker the service certificate after the end
of the employment contract and that might offend the reputation of
the worker or reduces his work opportunities , or the of the acquisition of the
employer in fines signed by workers while not benefiting them or without referring
that to the workers committee in the institution or the approval of the Ministry
in case of the absence of workers
committee, and not paying the incomes due specified dates or paying in other than the
official currency.
